Payment information for premium subscriptions and boosts (processed securely by third-party payment processors)
When you use our Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:

Approximate location data based on IP address

Your public profile information — including your name, age, photos, bio, height, and interests — is visible to other verified users of the Service. You control what you share on your profile.
We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including payment processors (Stripe), cloud hosting providers, analytics services, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, users, or the public.

Short King Dating uses a manual human moderation process to verify user identities. When you submit a selfie for verification:
Your selfie and profile photo are reviewed by our moderation team
Moderation decisions are made by human reviewers, not automated systems
Verification photos are stored securely and used solely for identity verification
We do not use facial recognition technology
You may be asked to resubmit if your verification is rejected
Unverified users have limited access to the Service and are not visible in other users' discovery feeds.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, safety, or fraud prevention purposes.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure password hashing, and regular security audits.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
You may access and update your profile information at any time through the Profile section of the app.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from the Service and your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.
You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. You may still receive transactional emails related to your account.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data).
